X-Men First Class

Just saw and loved the new X-Men movie, but it bothered me that during one poignant flashback scene a seven-candle menorah is being lit. I realize these menorahs exist but I've never actually seen one being used in a Jewish home. I wonder if it was a mistake (the Chanukah menorah has nine candles) or if there was some obscure reason for it.

Anyway, I expect I am the only one in the universe who was bothered by it.
