That was a near-perfect episode of White Collar, with just one tiny little flaw that I'm not even going to mention. I'm just so grateful that the "Nazi loot" story line is done.

1. I am still reading White Collar fic, and have not yet found my Holy Grail. My Holy Grail is the one story that is so deeply satisfying that I can pretty much stop reading that fandom once I've found it. I can go back to it again and again whenever I'm in the mood for that particular fandom. I have found some good stuff in White Collar, but nothing absolutely wonderfully perfect.

2. I think someone should offer New York-picking for White Collar writers who do not live in the area. I would volunteer my services. I am tired of coming across things like "Peter lives on Long Island" and "we're going to watch the Giants. Yeah, El loves baseball" (it's New York. It's winter. It's football).

3. There is a cricket outside my window.

Someone on TWoP pointed out that, while Neal Caffrey is morally opposed to stealing the identities of dead babies, he apparently has no problem with stealing the looted art of dead Jews.
