On watching a second time:
1. I really hate the Christmas party scene. It seems so out of character for them to throw one.
2. I wish Benedict Cumberbatch could have spent more of his hiatus learning to play the violin, or at least how to fake it. Or maybe the director could have been more careful. Either way, his playing of "Auld Lang Syne" doesn't actually match up with the notes.
3. I do love the boys' treatment of Mrs. Hudson, especially Sherlock's desire to get revenge on her American captor, and his anger at seeing her hurt.
4. Is Moriarty going to be tied to EVERY crime Sherlock works on? That was already a strained idea last series; it's going to be even more so this.
5. Speaking of which, I found it very hard to believe that Sherlock would fall for/help a known confederate of Moriarty's.

I wanted to like it more the second time around; instead I found more faults.
