Some Things

eveningblue1. I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I've been taking my cat to the chiropractor for her arthritis. She has it so bad in her hips that she was limping off both her back legs before she started treatment. She doesn't limp anymore, but as she's coming out of her adjustment (after about two weeks) she starts getting "tippy" when she walks--that's how I know I have to bring her in. She's been all tippy tonight--it's sort of adorable and sad at the same time. She is 18.
2. I have been watching Freaks and Geeks and while I enjoy it a lot, I feel like I just don't get Lindsay, who is supposed to be the center of the show. I mean, I get that she's left her old friends because she feels like she's changing and wants something different, but I absolutely don't get why she's hanging out with this gang of losers. I love Kim, though. Kim knows who she is and embraces it. Lindsay is just like "wah wah wah who AM I?"
3. Listening to "Movies on the Radio" on WQXR. This week's show features the guy who wrote the music for Fellini. Available also at wqxr.org.
4. Still waiting for Sherlock to return. Also, White Collar. Went to see In Time a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to Tinker Tailor....
5. The heat is coming up and it's very cozy in my apartment right now. I LOVE HEAT SO MUCH.
